About Dixies Pet ProjectIt is our belief that pets are truly the ultimate ambassadors of unconditional love. They are sources of joy, pride, and healing to those who are privileged enough to share their lives with them. Dixie’s Pet Project grew from the hearts and minds of three people drawn together by Dixie, a wonderful dog who’s health concerns connected an extraordinary veterinarian, a wonderful humanist, and a creative soul looking for a home. Three people that may have never met, become friends, and grown together. It hasn’t ended with the three of us. With every day that passes Dixie’s Pet Project embraces others, touches them, and our family grows. Dixie has made an everlasting impact on our lives. We owe her great thanks.
